Pro Radar Pitching Trainer

So far, so good. I was a little concerned about how consistently pitches would register, at least speed wise. So far, it seems to be use about every pitch which hits the trainer will register a speed. How accurate the speeds are, I cannot say. But they do seem to be consistent, which is good because I would rather have my boys working on controlling the speeds of their pitches versus being only concerned about how fast they can throw, This seems to be a good tool for helping them see the difference in speed of their fastballs, change ups and breaking balls.

Makes pitching training more enjoyable. Kids can see balls and strikes and speed.

This is great for kids and adults. My sons and husband all love it. Made very sturdy.

Our team really liked the device. An hour worked to assemble it, but otherwise very satisfied.

I bought this trainer for my son and also a travel baseball team I coach. I wanted something to teach young pitchers how to hit spots such as low and away, high and inside, etc. This trainer has all the main zones clearly marked so young pitchers can get an idea of what we are teaching. I also wanted the radar so we could get an idea of how hard our kids are throwing. One downside to this is that our kids concentrated only on speed at first trying to out do each other. It caused several of our pitchers to get a little wild at first. After the newness of this trainer wore off we were able to get kids to concentrate more on pitch location rather than speed. This unit allows us to similate a game for our pitchers so we can keep track of how they do over a predetermined number of innings. The kids love it! Watch out for all the adults though trying to out do each other to see who can throw the fastest. Can also be a great party game!
