The Cimarron Standalone Batting Cage is one of our best-selling batting cages. This package combines a heavy duty, 2" commercial grade rectangular steel frame with your choice of either a #42 or a #45 Twisted Poly net (we now also offer a cheaper 1.5" pole diameter option as well).
This frame and net are suitable for commercial / heavy-use applications including high school or college team use. Many of our customers have also used this frame and net combination as a high quality batting cage for the backyard. It comes complete with everything you need to set up your cage.
About the Frame:
The Cimarron Commercial Stand-Alone Frame sets the standard in toughness. These frames are among the strongest available. Both 12' or 14' wide nets will fit inside this frame and it comes with everything you need.
- High quality, 1.5" or 2"(ID) aluminized steel tubing for maximum strength and durability
- 55' or 70' Length, with a frame width of 15.5' W
- Custom Sizes are also available!
- Frame corners are fluted for easy assembly
- Self-tapping screws make it easy to assemble
- Includes Net Hangers for easy hanging and take down
- Can be set up indoors or outdoors
- Comes with ground stakes to secure the frame for added stability (stake the frame directly into the grass/dirt)
- Alternately choose ground sleeves if you want to pour concrete instead of using ground stakes
- Alternately choose anchor plates if you want to bolt the frame down to an existing concrete surface
About the Netting options:
The standard nets are available in 55'Lx14'Wx12'H or 70'Lx14'Wx12'H. The frame width is 15.5'W from pole to pole - but the frame can be customized for narrower spaces to accommodate a 12' W net instead (please contact us for details). Custom net sizes are also available.
Both the #42 and the #45 nets are also commercial grade (with the #42 being the thicker twine of the two).
#42 Twisted Poly:
- A great all around cage. High quality, tough, but still economical
- Excellent for outdoor or indoor use
- Twisted, knotted #42 twine, hung on the square for a clean look
- Knotted twine resists direct impact usage better
- Excellent for commercial or residential applications
- Includes a Door for easy entry and exit from the batting cage
- Higher abrasion resistance makes it stronger and more durable than braided poly nets
- Will not shrink or absorb water
- Border ropes are stitched to the net - secures cage, holds form, and reduces interior netting wear
- Treated with chemicals to protect against the elements and have a long life
- Full rope border across the top, sides, and bottom
- Center rope supports ceiling of cage
- Three 6' tie lines at each ceiling end of the cage
- 6' tie lines at bottom corners of the cage

#45 Twisted Poly:
- Includes all of the features of the #42 net, but even thicker & stronger
