The Xtender Home Batting Cages from Heater are the most revolutionary batting cage ever developed! Choose from 6 lengths to fit your backyard spacing needs. These complete cages are available in lengths of 24', 30', 36', 48', 60' and 72'. All cages are 12' wide and 10' high.

The secret to the affordability and durability of the Xtender Home Batting cage lies in the frame design and netting. First, the frame’s side supports are made of steel tubing to give the frame durability and maximum swinging area for the batter. Second, the middle arch of the frame is made of flexible fiberglass rod. This rod allows the cage to flex in the wind without bending or breaking. Third, the six power stakes are staked into the ground to give maximum frame support. Fourth, a rugged foam pad slides over each frame support to protect the frame from balls. Fifth, the extra strength catch net is made of 1” polypropylene netting compared to 2” netting used on other cages. This smaller netting provides twice as much strength in the same amount of space.

Xtender Batting Cage - Outstanding value!

Very easy to assembly, follow the simple layout directions and stake the pole sections 12 X 12 X 12Ft for the (24ft) length package I purchased, then stretch out the netting over the 3 hoops (note; use your garage push broom to help ease over the hoops, no need to drag latter around, I set up all by myself. Sure it, may take less time with a second set of hands however, I was able to easily complete the entire set up by myself less than hr_ you'll also gain an additional 3-5 ft by stretching the tapered end of netting where the small metal rectangle is located (for the pitching machine mounting) I have approx 30ft from machine to home plate, great for little league (6U thru 12U) batting practice.

Purchased online and connected two 30' cages. Design is awesome. When we have family gatherings and need the backyard space we take it down. Boys practice batting with L screen and pitching machine. Bottomline severe weather, strong winds, extreme weather sleet/snow can cause damage to the 'construction'of the product. take precautions like you would with your lawn furniture in your backyard and it will be fine. Lift the poles out of ground stakes and lay it on the ground when you have strong winds. Follow the manufacturers warnings and information. Mother of Four - Texas.
