55x14x12 stand alone batting cage frame

This is a high quality frame that is easy to assemble as long as you have 4 adults. It is great since it sits on top of the ground and you can either use stakes or floor flanges to support it.

Beyond satisfied

This review is for both the cage ( Cimarron 55x14x12)$ net. The product is well worth the price; small enough to fit in the yard, plenty of room to work, very durable. The site is terrific, customer service was outstanding (Brian). Shipping was beyond fast... Ordered late Fri, shipped Mon arrived Thursday. The net is the perfect compliment to the cage and fits perfectly, good tension and drape. The cage is aesthetically pleasing ( not an eye soar in your yard) and built to handle the wear n tear of a good practice session or season. What I like the best about it: no welding joints, no digging holes, self drilling screws, ground stakes for support, and it can be torn down and stowed then put back together with the same ease as the first time. Glad I found the site, happy I called CS, ecstatic to have received exactly what I not only needed but wanted.

Very pleased with stand alone cage frame

The standalone frame replaced my old 4x4 post and wire suspension cage. The frame looks better and the net hangs much better. Bryan at HW worked with me to make the frame fit my space. I built a 60' cage from the 55' standard frame. Get plenty of help with assembly. I suggest 3 or 4 man crew. And tall ladders a 12' step ladder was ok. Be prepared to drive some pipes into the flutes to seat them. I also measured and marked the pipe so I could be sure it was fully seated. I used extra clips to hang my net. I had them from my old cage.

70' Batting cage- mixed review

You may want to consider a divider net for a 70' frame so you can get twice as many hitters in. Just make sure you can easily drop and raise that net (so you can switch to full length). You need an L-screen and a turf batting mat is recommended so the players don't turn the area into a mud pit. You may want to use some zip ties to keep the net snug to the poles. Get some WD40 ready to fit the poles together! I needed to have a professional widen the fluted ends which slowed the project down.
